The mother of Philippine Eleonore Werkmesiter was Ilse Marie nee Möller, who had two marriages. The first was to Johann Heinrich Bleke, on 18 Februray 1770, with whom she had three daughters.

When Johann Heinrich Bleke died in 1779, she married Heinrich Tönnis Werkmeister in 1780, and they had a daughter, Philippine Eleonore Werkmeister, who was baptized on 4 May 1783. This was Carl Friedrich Krückeberg’s mother.

The baptism sponsor,Hans Heinrich Wilharm of no. 11 Evesen, was Carl Friedrich Gottlieb’s brother-in-law. Technically he was his half brother-in-law. Here briefly is the explanation.

Hans Heinrich Wilharm was born on 27 August 1760. On May 8, 1796, he married Anne Marie Philippine Blecke, who lived at no. 11 Evesen. Her mother was Ilse Marie Möller, who married Johann Heinrich Bleke of no. 11 Evesen on 18 February 1770. Together they had three daughters together, the first daughter was Anne Marie Philippine Blecke, who was born on 11 July 1773. She married Hans Heinrich Wilharm on 27 August 1797.

She died on 11 April 1797, the day after their child, Hans Heinrich Wilharm was born on 10 April 1779.

After Hans Heinrich Wilharms first wife, Anne Marie Philippine Blecke died, he married her sister, Sophie Ernestine Blecke, on 27 August 1797.

As mentioned earlier, the mother of both wives (the two Blecke sisters) of Hans Heinrich Wilharm was Ilse Marie Möller. Her husband Johann Heinrich Bleeke was the father of both of the Blecke sisters who married Hans Heinrich Wilharm. He died in 1779, and she remarried, on 11 June 1780, to Heinrich Tönnis Werkmeister. Their daughter, born 4 May 1883, was Philippine Eleonore Werkmeister, who married Carl Friedrich Gottlieb Krückeberg on 13 March 1803.

Thus Carl Friedrich Gottlieb Krückeberg’s mother-in-law, Ilse Marie nee Möller, was also the mother-in-law of Hans Heinrich Wilharm.

Carl Friedrich Gottlieb Krückeberg’s wife, Philippine Eleonore Werkmeister, was the half sister of Hans Heinrich Wilharm wife, Sophie Ernestine Blecke.

Ilse Marie then married Heinrich Tönnis Werkmeister, and they resided at no. 11 Evesen. We know this because their

Meaning of Einlieger

“Schneider und Einlieger in Nr. 14 in Bärenbusch” tells us two separate things: his trade (tailor) and his social/tenurial position (Einlieger). An Einlieger in early-19th-century rural Germany was typically a lodger or subtenant without a full farm or house place of their own—part of the unterbäuerliche (sub-peasant) strata who lived “in” an existing holding rather than as the recognized holder of it.

So “Einlieger in Nr. 14” very strongly suggests that Carl Friedrich Gottlieb Krückeberg did not own or inherit farm no. 14, but instead rented rooms or a small secondary dwelling on that property, supporting himself as a tailor while living in the household (or on the land) of whoever was the actual Colon/householder of No. 14 in Berenbusch.
