Appeared the colonist Krückeberg No. 18 of Berenbusch and the shoemaker
and cottager Wilhelm Meyer of No. 41 in Röcke, who, following notification
of the petition submitted by the former to the Princely Rent Chamber
concerning the sale of his holding to Wilhelm Meyer, declared as follows:
Wilhelm Meyer has purchased the holding together with all appurtenances
for the price of 550 Reichstaler. For payment of the purchase price he has
cash assets amounting to 100 Reichstaler; furthermore, he intends to assume
the older debts resting upon the holding, amounting to 250 Reichstaler,
and to borrow 200 Reichstaler from the colonist Witte, No. 13 in Eilsen,
who has already declared his willingness to do so. The extent of the
holding is correctly stated in the petition addressed to the Chamber.
The garden lies immediately adjacent to the house, and the latter is
insured for 400 Reichstaler. The burdens of the holding consist of the
following:
1. 1 Reichstaler 1 groschen service money,
2. 10 groschen 2 denarii woodland-clearing rent,
3. 6 milling-and-swine dues,
4. 1 groschen Michaelmas levy,
5. one hearth-hen,
6. charges of 2 denarii contribution,
7. municipal, church, and bell-service burdens.
They stated that they petitioned for confirmation of the deed of sale.
