Report from the Amt Bückeburg Concerning the Sale of the Krückeberg Farmstead (22 August 1849)
Narrative Summary
This document is a formal report sent from the Amt Bückeburg to the Princely Fiscal Chamber in response to the petition of Colon Krückeberg of Stätte No. 10 in Berenbusch, who has requested permission to sell his holding. The Amt notes that it has received Krückeberg’s petition and that the matter is confirmed in an attached protocol from the previous day. The Amt states that it has no objections to the granting of the requested permission. It further informs the Fiscal Chamber that Krückeberg intends to emigrate to America and plans to depart as early as the 13th of the coming month. The Amt therefore asks for a prompt decision from the Fiscal Chamber. Finally, the Amt reports that, in accordance with an earlier resolution dated the 13th of the month, it will collect a 12 Mariengroschen stamp duty from Krückeberg and will forward the amount. The document is issued from Bückeburg on 22 August 1849 and signed by Höner.
